Argentina increases beef exports by more than 50%

The volume of Argentina's beef exports in 2009 were 57% higher in volume, and up by 10.5% in value, compared to the year before.
The country's national agriculture, food and health service (Senasa) has said packers exported 419,335 tonnes of beef, bringing in export revenues of more than US$1.6 billion during 2009.
