Sandra Bullock launches charity venture with Coach

Leathergood brand Coach has agreed to donate a percentage of sales of two of its handbag models to a favourite charity of film star Sandra Bullock.

Ms Bullock, a loyal Coach enthusiast, is a supporter of The Beauty Bus, a charity organisation in Los Angeles that provides beauty treatment to home-bound terminally or chronically ill patients and their carers.

The leathergoods firm has said it will help her support The Beauty Bus by passing on a proportion of the money it takes in in sales for Ms Bullock's two favourite Coach bags, the new Madison Large Leather Hippie, which retails for $358, and the Kristin tote bag, which costs $598.

The Madison is made from "sumptuous, pleated cowhide leather", and is available with silver or brass detailing in three colours: black, bone and walnut. The Kristin bag is made from "especially soft, supple leather", Coach says. It comes in four colours: black, green, brown and coral pink.
