Gucci teams up with Christie’s

Leathergoods experts at auction house Christie’s will work with their counterparts at fashion group Gucci on a new service called Gucci Collector.
Under the new programme, owners of vintage handbags or other Gucci items can have their property assessed by the experts to confirm authenticity, receive certification of it and to find out the value.
The companies have said that “select owners” will have the opportunity to sell their items to Gucci, or in a future Christie's auction, if they wish.
