India looks forward to IILF

The 2010 edition of the India International Leather Fair (IILF) in Chennai will be the twenty-fifth since the inception of the event, which is not the industry’s biggest in India.

The chairman of the organising body, the Council for Leather Exports, Habib Hussain said the leather industry in India was looking forward to the exhibition and said that the mood among tanners and leathergoods manufacturers was optimistic about the prospect of growth in export markets, at least after March.

This year’s event takes place from January 31 to February 3.
