Strong quarter for Coach
20/01/2010
Leathergoods brand Coach has reported an increase of 11% in profits for the second quarter of its current fiscal year.
Announcing the results on January 20, chief executive, Lew Frankfort, said strong sales over the Christmas holiday period in the company's home market, North America, had been an important contributing factor.
The quarter, which ended on December 26, generated sales of $1.07 billion and profits of $241 million.
