New plan for chrome waste

The China Leather Industry Associaion has said that the country currently has 400 tonnes of solid chromium waste waiting for treatment, according to official statistics.
The organisation said that a recent meeting of the Environmental Science Society of China had approved a new technique for treating chromium solid waste. The newly approved technique will use the chrome waste in steel-making.
