Entrepreneur re-opens leathergoods factory

A high-end leathergoods manufacturing facility that has lain empty in the town of Saint-Aubin-le-Cloud in western France since 2008 has re-opened.
Entrepreneur Pascale Collart-Dutilleul, originally from Paris, has decided to use her experience working in the leathergoods sector with a number of luxury brands to launch an operation of her own using the space and equipment available in the Saint-Aubin-le-Cloud facility.
Ms Collart-Dutilleul has experience of working in all aspects of leathergoods production, from manufacturing to marketing and management, but was recently made redundant. Rather than keep looking for a new job among luxury brands, she has decided to launch her own company, calling it Manufacture du Cuir.
