New appointments at Tyson Foods

Tyson Foods has announced two new senior appointments.

Donnie King will oversee the poultry and prepared foods operations, succeeding Donnie Smith, who was recently named president and chief executive of the company. Mr King joined Tyson in 1982.

Noel White will head Tyson's beef and pork business, Tyson Fresh Meats. He succeeds Jim Lochner, who now serves as the company’s chief operating officer. Mr White joined IBP, which became Tyson Fresh Meats, as a pork sales representative in 1983.

Both Mr King and Mr White will report to Mr Lochner.
