BASF to present eco-friendly products at IILF

German chemicals company BASF says it will present a range of innovative and environmentally friendly products at the India International Leather Fair (IILF), which run January 31 to February 3 in Chennai.

These products will include its Basyntan product range of formaldehyde-free syntans, new eco-friendly soft polymers in the Relugan series and new solvent-optimised finishing products offering improved consumer safety and high performance for leather applications.

It will also showcase environmentally friendly Lepton Aquatop TG, a top coat that provides a natural leather touch and transparent look, Lugafast Colorlock Technology, with reactive dyes for colourfast leather, and water-based auxiliary Astacin Top LP, which offers high gloss, transparency and an elegant smooth surface on leather.

A team comprising specialists from the firm’s
Southern Asia
competence centre will be at the booth to advice customers and inform them about BASF’s product range.
