Argentina’s beef exports rose shapely between January and October, according to the National Service of Agrifood Health and Quality (Senasa).

The country exported 349,691 tonnes of beef worth $1.4 billion during the period, up 56.3% in volume and 6.2% in value year-on-year.

Russia was the main importer of beef from Argentina, accounting for 117,270 tonnes worth $272.8 million, followed by Germany (17,399 tonnes at $147.6 million) and Chile (34,973 tonnes at $119.3 million).
