Pavoni launches in the UK
Italian leather and leathergoods brand Vittoria I Pavoni has made its UK debut. Designed and manufactured in Abbruzzo on Italy’s east coast, its owners are hoping to “bring a touch of Italian chic to Britain”, starting with its spring-summer 2010 collection.
The company is also offering special Christmas gift packages, including five, six or nine pieces from the Natale Feste, Natale Felice and Natale Neve styles.
Each article in Pavoni’s spring-summer collection, targeted at professionals aged 25 and over, is handcrafted in top-quality leathers and vibrant colours, including crocodile, ostrich, snakeskin, fish skin and calf.
Pavoni designer and managing director, Albena Taneva, says: “Italian women are well known for their glamorous sense of style, and we’ve taken this, together with a British taste for more simple design, to create this latest collection. The brand has become a big success in Italy over the past five years, and we’re building on this by launching it in the UK. There’s now an opportunity for fashion and accessory retailers to stock something new and different alongside the usual suspects.”
