Bangladesh’s Prime Minister, Sheikh Hasina, met Swedish minister for trade, Ewa Bjorling, last week to discuss bilateral trade.

During the visit to Stockholm on October 23, Ms Hasina urged the Swedish government to import leather and ceramic products, pharmaceuticals and ships from Bangladesh. She told the Swedish trade minister that Bangladesh had already started exporting ships to Germany, Denmark and the Netherlands, and that Bangladeshi leather and ceramic products are of a high quality.
