No injuries in tannery fire
A fire broke out at the WB Place tannery in Hartford, Wisconsin, on Saturday night.
The fire started in a section of the unit that was just a month old, where ceiling sprinklers had not yet been installed. However, minimal damage was done to the 120-year-old site as firefighters responded swiftly to the blaze. No injuries were reported.
"Relatively speaking, this was a pretty minor fire with lots of precautions being taken because of the hazards with this site," a spokesperson for the fire service said. The cause of the fire is not yet clear.
