Bertin gives green light to new abattoir

Brazilian meat and leather group Bertin has announced that it will open a new meat processing factory in Campo Grande, the state capital of Mato Grosso do Sul.
It will also formally open a new abattoir there, after completing successfully a series of tests. The company said the new abattoir would have a slaughter capacity of 4,000 head of cattle per day.
