Beijing draws almost 300 delegates

The thirtieth Global Congress of the International Union of Leather Technologists and Chemists Societies (IULTCS) got under way successfully in Beijing on October 11. Nearly 300 well known scientists, professors and leather technicians from around the world gathered for the event.
The China Leather Industry Association hosted the event and presented China as an important country in the global leather industry. The organisers said that being able to welcome an important organisation like the IULTCS offered “great encouragement” to the China leather sector.
