Bags boost for Bulgari

Italian luxury goods brand Bulgari has said that its sales have improved during the second half of 2009, after it reported losses of EUR 40 million for the first half.

With jewellery and watches—Bulgari’s main focus—suffering across the whole of the luxury goods sector, Bulgari said it had seen “significantly better” sales in the past three months thanks to an increase in demand for its handbags, and thanks to growth in Asia.
