Versace says sayonara

Italian fashion brand Versace has announced plans to exit the Japanese market and will concentrate its efforts to achieve growth in Asia on China.
Versace has already opened 20 boutiques across China and is planning more.
The Financial Times said the Italian company was hoping to attract wealthy Chinese consumers with offerings such as purple athletic shoes priced at 4,000 Rmb (EUR 400) and a crocodile-effect bovine leather boots at 8,000 Rmb (EUR 800).
