President leads Argentinian delegation

Argentina's president, Cristina Kirchner, will lead a trade delegation to India for an official visit from October 14-17.

Around 100 business leaders, including from tanning and leathergoods companies, will travel with the president to New Delhi, Mumbai and Agra. More than 700 meetings will take place between them and business groups in India.

In 2008, Argentina exported goods worth $828 million to India and imported products worth £441 from there. Exports to India grew by 47% between 2004 and 2008.
