More than 6,000 visitors at ILM

01/10/2009

The organisers of ILM Summer Styles reported that visitor numbers at the most recent edition, which ran September 26-29 in Offenbach, Germany, equalled the number that attended the same event last year.

Around 6,100 visitors from 43 countries visited the leathergoods fair, despite expectations that numbers would be down. Meanwhile, 219 exhibitors from 15 countries presented their collections for spring-summer 2010 at the show. Goods on show included high-fashion bags, small leathergoods, and travel goods.

Six awards were presented at the ILM on the evening of September 28. The Best Presentation prize went to Cologne-based Crumpler, the Best Newcomer prize was awarded to Italian brand Abby by Volpi and the Best in Basics prize was given to Germany-based Delsey for its Quantum bag line. The Best Intelligence prize went to Tumi for its T-Pass-concept, the Best in Fashion prize was given to Calvin Klein Accessories by Eratex for its Selection collection and the Best Young Culture prize was awarded to Burton Sportartikel for the Green Mountain project.
