GER to showcase hide-rolling machine

Tanning machinery manufacturer GER will showcase Roll-One, an integrated measuring and rolling up line, at the forthcoming Tanning Tech exhibition (Bologna, October 13–15).
The machine consists of a feeding conveyor with a wide belt, on which hides are placed one by one, and a series of synchronised-speed rollers, which carry out the rolling up of each hide.
The hides can be rolled up with the grain inwards or outwards. Once a hide is rolled up, automatic feeders insert it into cardboard tubes.
