Leathergoods feature in achievements display

An exhibition showcasing China's achievements since 1949 was unveiled in Beijing on September 19 to mark the sixtieth anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China.
President Hu Jintao was among the leading figures to visit the exhibition on the first day.
The exhibition, covering progresses in economic, political, cultural and social areas, will run until October 20.
Leathergoods, including shoes and handbags, feature prominently in a special display area to highlight achievements in light manufacturing.
