Disappointing beef export results confirmed

The most recent export results for the Brazilian beef industry show important drops in terms of volume and value.
From January to August this year, packers exported 609,500 tonnes of beef, which is 14.4% less than for the same period last year. This year, the value of beef exports for the first eight months was $1.9 billion, a decrease of 30.3%.
