Antichi Pellettieri ‘not for sale’

Italian luxury goods maker Mariella Burani has issued a statement to deny speculation in newspaper La Repubblica that it is considering selling off its Antichi Pellettieri leathergoods division.
The paper said a rival Italian leathergoods brand, Piquadro, had shown interest in some of the brands that come under the Antichi umbrella.
Mariella Burani issued a statement saying it was not considering in its restructuring plan the sale of strategic assets such as Antichi Pellettieri, or parts of it.
