London-based designer Katherine Pogson, who specialises in using leather for interior design and fashion, has published a new book called Complete Leatherwork.
The book covers all aspects of working with leather, from basic materials, threads, dyes, and adhesives to pattern making, skiving, channeling, and even more advanced skills such as moulding and surface decoration.
The designer regularly runs short courses on leather and fashion accessories in London, taking participants through the process of designing and making a leather handbag and other fashion accessories, from creating the pattern to making up the finished article.
