Coach happy to be all at sea

Luxury leathergoods brand Coach has agreed to set up a store on a new cruise ship.
Miami-based cruise line Royal Caribbean International has announced that the retail offering on its newest ship, Oasis of the Seas, will include an ocean-going Coach outlet when it launches in December 2009.
The Coach store will be one of 13 on board the ship. The outlet has been built to the leathergoods company’s specification.
“We are consistently pushing the envelope with the retail selection offered on our cruise ships, and with Oasis of the Seas we sought to fully transform the shopping experience at sea by introducing new brands and new concepts,” said Lisa Bauer, senior vice-president of hotel operations at Royal Caribbean International. “We’ve been fortunate to gain the support of a number of iconic brands that are eager to be part of the experience.”
The Coach outlet will stock an assortment of chic handbags and accessories, and to celebrate the launch of the ship and of the store, customers at the grand opening in December will receive an exclusive leather luggage tag as a gift with every purchase.
