New leather furniture group attracts top brands
A new upholstery leather company, Renaissance Leather, launched in May and has already attracted some big-name clients including Ralph Lauren Home.
The company is designed to serve residential and commercial clients in the home furnishings and hospitality industries as well as design firms and architectural firms.
Its president, Luke Reed, has said that, although it is a new company, its successful start can be attributed to the fact that it employs several industry veterans who, between them, have 80 years’ experience in the industry.
It works with a number of tanneries including Italian tanneries and employs its own inspection teams to carry out tannery inspections. The leather is stored at its Hickory, US, facility.
