Stockholm-based Ordning&Reda, which designs and sells bags, and leather-covered diaries, notebooks and accessories, has announced that it will open its first Middle East store in the Dubai International Financial Centre.

The brand has more than 40 stores in 13 countries and is already preparing to open a second Dubai store in the Ibn Battuta shopping mall. The company has said it has a large fan-base in the Middle East; consumers from there have been keen buyers of Ordning&Reda products during shopping trips to Europe for some time.

Chief executive,
Annette Järnefelt, said on announcing the development: “We understand that there is a demand for a high quality and well designed products within the Middle East. We provide luxury with simplicity, something inherent from our Swedish roots and we are very proud to be able to offer the products and this established brand to the market. Our stores not only offer high-end design products, they also encourage interaction and creativity with customers and staff. We are extremely eager to see the reception the store receives, given the already strong fan-base in the UAE.”
