Stahl to “savour fashion” at Shanghai Fair
Specialist leather chemicals provider Stahl is to present its latest collection of leather finishes reflecting the trends for the autumn-winter 2010-11 at the All China Leather Exhibition in Shanghai, China (September 2-4).
According to the company, the most important trend is that of the individual grasping the essence of fashion. As a result the season is expected to be one of “savouring fashion” rather “flaunting it”.
Stahl has cooperated with a number of Italian designers during the trend creation process. The resulting collection is said to be one in which vibrant, popping, electric bright colours will compete with soft and warm tints. The range includes a wide selection of leathers, from a new surface of Florentique through light, elegant pull-up and warm nappa to eco-friendly veggie leathers. A new burnished aniline finish gives natural, shiny and textured effects using trendy embossing plates.
All leather, covering the whole spectrum of shoe, leathergoods, garment and furniture leathers, will be finished using the Beauty Maker system and the most recent developments in oils and waxes, ready-for-use compact mixes, binders and topcoats produced in
