Environmental focus for Trumpler at ACLE

Specialist leather chemicals company Trumpler International will showcase a range of fashion leathers produced with chemicals and auxiliaries from its manufacturing bases in China and Europe at the All China Leather Exhibition (ACLE) in Shanghai, which this year runs from September 2-4.
The emphasis will be on environmentally friendly products such as the biodegradable degreasing agent Pastosol BZ and a new range of retanning polymers based on biotechnology.
The company claims that the three products in this range, Trupotan Bio 08P, Trupotan Bio 05L and Trupotan Bio 03L, offer "genuine environmentally friendly alternatives" to melamine- and dicyandiamide-based resins.
Water-resistant leathers featuring both the Truposist and Trupotec hydrophobic fatliquoring systems will also be presented along with a full range of shoe, garment and upholstery leathers.
"Staff from across the globe look forward to offering visitors the usual cordial and hospitable welcome associated with the Trumpler name," the company has said.
