Baltic Textile and Leather, said to be the main annual fashion and textile event in the Baltic States, is to take place September 24-26 at Litexpo in Vilnius, Lithuania.

According to organisers, the event provides good opportunities for participants to meet new business partners and to find new customers in the Baltic States. Organisers claim the combined states have a population of 10 million and that purchasing power within the states is increasing.

Products on display will include finished leather, leathergoods and footwear for men, women and children. A number of seminars and catwalk shoes will take place during the three-day event.

In 2008, 172 participants from 21 countries attended the event along with 7,550 visitors from 26 countries.
