Leather complex to open in Nanjing
According to reports, a new leather ‘town’ is to open in Nanjing, China, at the end of September.
The leather complex covers a 5,000 square-metre area and will involve an investment of CNY 30 million (approximately $4.4 million). It is being developed by Nanjing and Zhejiang Investment Co.
Leathergoods producers from Haining—known as the Chinese leather capital—will be able to sell their products directly to this market following the signing of an agreement with the new site’s owners.
