The Chinese finance and tax administration ministry has revealed that the export tax rebate rate has been increased in a bid to support export growth.

The rate for certain leathergoods has been raised from 13% to 15%. This includes leather travel goods, luggage and bags (HS Code 4202), shoes (HS Code 6401-6405), shoes and boots (HS Code 6406), leather hats and caps (HS Code 65069910), fur caps and hats (HS Code 65069920), automotive leather (HS Code 94012010), leather for beds and chairs (HS Code 94014010), leather for wooden chairs (HS Code 94016110) and leather for metal chairs (HS Code 65069910).
