Stahl uses Tableau software

Specialist chemical company Stahl Holdings BV is using software provided by Tableau Software to build financial analytics and business dashboards. The company’s executive team and its international subsidiaries are now interacting using the real-time business dashboards via web browsers.
The company is using data visualisation software Tableau Desktop, which connects directly to a wide assortment of data sources allowing people to understand complex relationships through engaging and easy-to-understand visualizations. It is also using Tableau Server, which extends the functionality of Desktop to the web, enabling organisations to share, discover and interact with their data.
"As a worldwide company with a large footprint, we needed to share current metrics, KPI's (key performance indicators) and financial information with our executive team and subsidiaries in ways that are easy for our business analysts to produce and easy for executives to understand," said Christ Damon, group finance director. "Tableau is a powerful, yet easy-to-use tool that reveals insights on data which were not possible before. Our business analysts spend more time on analysis in completely different ways without the need to spend time collecting and managing data in different views."Share this story:
