According to reports, Giancarlo Di Risio, has resigned from his position as CEO at Versace having joined the firm in 2004.

There are rumours that Mr Di Risio had decided to step down from his position at the Italian fashion house because of disagreements over cost-cutting strategies. However, the company says a mutual decision led to his resignation.

Reports indicate that Mr Di Risio will remain on the company’s board temporarily. The company is said to be looking for a new leader to take the firm forward.
