Leathergoods brand Cole Haan is turning heads at country clubs all over the US thanks to its Dylan tennis bag, which combines vegetable-tanned and chrome-free leathers with a material called Bionic, which is made from recycled plastic drinks bottles.

The company that makes Bionic is partly owned by Grammy award-winning hip hop star Pharrell Williams.

Each Dylan bag uses 11 bottles' worth of the material and costs $550 at full price.
