Prevent’s acquisition can go ahead

A court in Austria has confirmed that the proposed acquisition of leather automotive interiors specialist Eybl International by rival manufacturer Prevent can go ahead.
Eybl went into administration at the end of last year, but Prevent moved in April to buy up its Eybl International subsidiary, which operates plants producing leather and textile interiors for cars in Romania, Austria and Germany.
The court ruling confirms the successful conclusion of the Austrian company’s administration proceedings; the subsidiary’s transfer to Prevent is expected to take place in June.
