Full grain leather ideal for boat shoe

Footwear brand Rockport has announced an agreement with Volvo Ocean Race sailing team Telefónica to supply official team footwear until December 2010.
Rockport presented the 22 sailors on the Telefónica team with special edition boat shoes, made from full grain leather, to wear when they leave Boston May 15 to embark on the final stretch of the current edition of the race. Rockport created the special-edition shoes by redesigning its HydroPlex boat shoe, applying the team colours—blue and black—and including the sponsor’s logo.
