The sixth edition of Meet in Africa is to take place at the Khartoum International Fair Ground in Sudan from May 4-7. According to organisers, more than 50 companies from outside Sudan have signed up to participate at the event and it is hoped that visitor numbers will be high.

Organisers are offering companies subsidised packages for companies that attend. These packages will be offered on a first come, first served basis.

According to reports, Sudan has approximately 23 tanneries, 20 large footwear manufacturing plants, 730 workshops and 330 artisan factories.
