Hides and Skins: Net sales of 404,700 pieces were down two percent from the previous week and 20 percent from the prior four-week average. Whole cattle hide sales of 386,900 pieces were mainly for China (130,100 pieces), South Korea (90,200 pieces), Japan (78,400 pieces), Vietnam (22,300 pieces) and Hong Kong (18,000 pieces). Exports of 480,200 pieces were up seven percent from the previous week, but down two percent from the prior four-week average. Whole cattle hide exports of 468,400 pieces were primarily to China (266,700 pieces), South Korea (96,700 pieces), Mexico (27,000 pieces), Japan (18,900 pieces) and Taiwan (18,200 pieces). 

Net sales of 36,200 wet blues were down 75 percent from the previous week and 54 percent from the prior four-week average. Increases were mainly for Taiwan (17,900 unsplit), the Dominican Republic (8,600 grain splits and 4,800 unsplit), South Korea (9,900 unsplit), China (5,100 unsplit) and Vietnam (2,300 unsplit). Exports of 118,500 hides were up 30 percent from the previous week and 13 percent from the prior four-week average. The primary destinations were Taiwan (28,300 unsplit), China (18,600 unsplit and 8,400 grain splits), Italy (17,700 unsplit and 3,600 grain splits) and the Dominican Republic (8,600 grain splits). Net sales of splits totalling 771,700 pounds were for China (305,300 pounds), Hong Kong (247,500 pounds), Indonesia (176,000 pounds) and the Dominican Republic (42,900 pounds). Exports of 733,300 pounds were up 56 percent from the previous week, but unchanged from the prior four-week average. The destinations were South Korea (405,000 pounds), China (230,800 pounds) and Hong Kong (97,500 pounds).
