Hides and Skins: Net sales of 432,500 pieces were up 86 per cent from the previous week, but down 11 per cent from the prior 4-week average. Whole cattle hide sales of 429,700 pieces were mainly for South Korea (151,200 pieces), China (120,700 pieces), Taiwan (43,600 pieces), Mexico (35,200 pieces), and Turkey (30,900 pieces). Exports of 535,600 pieces were up 18 per cent from the previous week and 2 per cent from the prior 4-week average. Whole cattle hide exports of 526,300 pieces were mainly to China (237,000 pieces), South Korea (164,600 pieces), Taiwan (36,400 pieces), Mexico (31,700 pieces), and Vietnam (24,800 pieces). 

Net sales of 69,000 wet blues were down 49 per cent from the previous week and 52 per cent from the prior 4-week average. Increases were mainly for China (19,400 unsplit and 2,700 grain splits), Mexico (16,700 grain splits and 3,000 unsplit), Indonesia (11,000 unsplit), and the Dominican Republic (9,100 grain splits). Exports of 114,000 hides were down 35 per cent from the previous week and 26 per cent from the prior 4-week average. The primary destinations were China (32,500 unsplit and 5,900 grain splits), the Dominican Republic (18,600 grain splits and 2,400 unsplit), Italy (19,600 unsplit), and Mexico (17,900 grain splits). 

Net sales of splits totalling 1,977,500 pounds resulted as increases for Hong Kong (1,489,000 pounds), South Korea (270,000 pounds), and China (262,500 pounds) were partially offset by decreases for Italy (44,000 pounds). Exports of 873,500 pounds were down 9 per cent from the previous week and 23 per cent from the prior 4-week average. The destinations were Hong Kong (331,000 pounds), China (262,500 pounds), Italy (180,000 pounds), and Taiwan (100,000 pounds).
