Hides and Skins: Net sales of 432,300 pieces were down 35 per cent from the previous week. Whole cattle hide sales of 422,900 pieces were mainly for South Korea (167,300 pieces), China (132,300 pieces), Mexico (33,700 pieces), Taiwan (28,100 pieces), and Vietnam (24,000 pieces). Exports of 516,600 pieces were up 1 per cent from the previous week and 14 per cent from the prior 4-week average. Whole cattle hide exports of 504,900 pieces were mainly to China (271,400 pieces), South Korea (120,600 pieces), Mexico (36,500 pieces), Hong Kong (17,600 pieces), and Japan (17,100 pieces). 

Net sales of 161,800 wet blues were up 4 per cent from the previous week. Increases were mainly for China (58,800 unsplit and 2,400 grain splits), the Dominican Republic (16,700 grain splits and 10,000 unsplit), South Korea (15,200 unsplit), Mexico (12,800 grain splits and 2,000 unsplit), and Hong Kong (11,700 unsplit). Exports of 142,600 hides were down 8 per cent from the previous week, but up 9 per cent from the prior 4-week average. The primary destinations were Italy (36,400 unsplit and 1,800 grain splits), China (26,200 unsplit and 1,400 grain splits), the Dominican Republic (14,300 grain splits and 5,200 unsplit), Mexico (12,900 grain splits and 3,000 unsplit), and Vietnam (9,300 unsplit). 

Net sales of splits totalling 2,006,100 pounds resulted as increases for Italy (2,025,000 pounds) and South Korea (41,700 pounds) were partially offset by decreases for Hong Kong (60,600 pounds). Exports of 930,100 pounds were down 42 per cent from the previous week, but up 9 per cent from the prior 4-week average. The destinations were South Korea (446,700 pounds), Hong Kong (248,400 pounds), Italy (135,000 pounds), and Taiwan (100,000 pounds).
