Hides and Skins: Net sales of 579,800 pieces were up 87 per cent from the previous week and 25 per cent from the prior 4-week average. Whole cattle hide sales of 574,900 pieces were primarily for South Korea (296,800 pieces), China (131,700 pieces), Mexico (47,000 pieces), and Thailand (38,000 pieces).  Exports of 445,900 pieces were down 11 per cent from the previous week and 17 per cent from the prior 4-week average. Whole cattle hide exports of 443,400 pieces were primarily to China (183,500 pieces), South Korea (95,200 pieces), Taiwan (45,100 pieces), Mexico (35,700 pieces), and Japan (25,000 pieces). 

Net sales of 71,100 wet blues were down 10 per cent from the previous week and 48 per cent from the prior 4-week average. Increases were reported for China (22,400 unsplit), Mexico (17,900 grain splits), the Dominican Republic (9,400 grain splits and 2,000 unsplit), and South Korea (9,300 unsplit). Exports of 135,000 hides were up 11 per cent from the previous week, but down 6 per cent from the prior 4-week average. The primary destinations were China (43,200 unsplit), Mexico (27,000 grain splits and 1,800 unsplit), Hong Kong (15,200 unsplit and 2,900 grain splits), and the Dominican Republic (11,900 grain splits and 4,400 unsplit). 

Net sales of splits totalling 433,600 pounds were for Hong Kong (298,600 pounds) and South Korea (135,000 pounds). Exports of splits totalling 362,600 pounds were down 53 per cent from the previous week and 67 per cent from the prior 4-week average. The destinations were Italy (270,000 pounds) and Hong Kong (92,600 pounds).
