Cattle slaughterings up 11.3% in January
The number of cattle slaughtered in January 2007 was 11.3% higher than in January 2006. See Table.
A comparison of January 2007 and 2006 figures shows that:
- Sheep slaughterings decreased by 12.6%.
- Pig slaughterings increased by 2.3%.
