Whole cattle hide sales of 491,900 pieces were primarily for Taiwan (120,600 pieces), South Korea (115,100 pieces), and China (100,200 pieces). Exports of 657,700 pieces were up 41% from the previous week and 43% from the 4-week average. Whole cattle hide shipments of 613,100 pieces were destined mainly for South Korea (220,800 pieces), China (134,200 pieces), and Taiwan (83,500 pieces).

Net sales of 65,400 wet blues (mainly unsplit) were down 42% from previous week and 31% from the 4-week average. The primary buyers were South Korea (28,000 unsplit and 5,600 grain split), Mexico (15,300 unsplit and 3,700 grain split), and Italy (6,700 unsplit). Exports of 110,300 hides were 93% above the previous week and 40% above the 4-week average. The primary destinations were Taiwan (19,500 unsplit and 4,900 grain split), Hong Kong (21,700 unsplit and 1,600 grain split), Mexico (12,500 unsplit and 5,000 grain split), and South Korea (12,900 unsplit and 2,500 grain split), and Italy (14,400 unsplit). Net sales of splits totaling 1,773,400 pounds were 27% below the prior week, but 20% over the 4-week average. The primary buyers were Hong Kong (675,600 pounds), Indonesia (500,000 pounds), China (247,400 pounds), and Canada (200,000 pounds). Exports of 1,663,400 pounds were 84% above the previous week and 69% above the 4-week average. The primary destinations were Hong Kong (560,600 pounds), Italy (420,000 pounds), China (297,400 pounds), and Mexico (192,000 pounds).
