Sales of cured cattle hides for the period ending January 26 were 356,200 pieces. The figure for exports of wet blue was 62,200 pieces.

The most recent prices for cowhides show levels of $14 for northern dairy cows, $13 for southwest dairy cows, $8 for northern branded cows and $7 for southwest branded cows. Cow hide weights in each case were 50-52 pounds.
