Sales of cured cattle hides for the period ending October 20 were 401,800 pieces. The figure for exports of wet blue was 204,400 pieces.

The most recent hide prices provided prices for six types of hide at six price points, with prices at $40 for native steers weighing a minimum of 62 pounds and $26 branded Colorado steers weighing 63-65 pounds. In cow hides, all weighing 50-52 pounds, prices ranged from $14 for northern dairy cows, down to $7 for branded south-west cows.
