Sales of cured cattle hides for the period ending August 11 were 4555,500 pieces. The figure for exports of wet blue was 93,300 pieces.

The most recent steer hide prices provided prices for three types of hide, with prices of $30 for butt-branded steers weighing 62-64 pounds, $25 for heavy Texas steers weighing 64-66 pounds, and $22 for heavy Texas steers at 60-62 pounds.
