Sales of cured cattle hides for the period ending June 30 were 314,700 pieces. The figure for exports of wet blue was 255,300 pieces.

The most recent steer hide prices provided prices for four types of hide, with prices showing $32 for butt-branded steers weighing a minimum of 62 pounds, $24 for Colorado branded steers of 64 pounds or $23.50 for hides from the same source weighing 62-64 pounds. Heavy Texas steers weighing 60-62 pounds were $23.
