Sales of cured cattle hides for the period ending June 16 were 446,200 pieces. The figure for exports of wet blue was 250,700 pieces.

The most recent steer hide prices provided prices for six types of hide, with prices showing $32.50 for butt-branded steers weighing between 62 and 64 pounds, $23 for heavy Texas steers of 60-62 pounds, and $20 for dairy cows of 50-52 pounds, down to $9 for branded south-west cows of the same weight.
