Sales of cured cattle hides for the period ending December 9 were 264,300 pieces. The figure for exports of wet blue was 97,000 pieces.

The most recent steer hide prices provided prices for five types of hides at five price points, with prices ranging from $31 for Colorado branded steers weighing between 65 and 67 pounds, $24 for dairy cows weighing between 50 and 52 pounds, and $13 for branded south-west cows weighing between 50 and 52 pounds.
